We all want to be financially secure and happy. This is why we work hard so that we can have the things that make us happy.
One of these things is a job that pays well. In this blog post, I am going to share with you five of my favorite jobs in energy products! The first job is a solar panel installer. I want to emphasize that it’s important for this person to be educated and trained, because those are the best qualities in someone doing this job well. The second position is being an engineer on wind power projects. This person would need to have education and training in engineering as well as general knowledge of environmental issues like sustainability, social justice, climate change, etc., so they can work their way up into sustainable energy development or public advocacy positions within the industry!
My third favorite occupation has always been my own- installing insulation products for homes and businesses alike with our family business right here in Connecticut. There are many different types of insulation materials out there now from fiberglass batt insulation material to cellulose insulation products.
My fourth pick would be a general manager for an energy efficiency company- this person has to have experience in the field and also enjoy managing other people!
They need to know how to do accounting, write marketing content, keep track of budgets and any kind of business related stuff like that. These positions are usually given by word-of-mouth or from referrals but there is one website you can look at called Energy Manager Worldwide which lists open jobs within the industry so it’s worth checking out if you want more information about these types of opportunities! The fifth best position I found was as a renewable energy engineer with specialization in solar engineering design projects; they spend their days determining feasibility studies, designing photovoltaic systems, and testing solar arrays. These kind of engineers make $90K a year on average!
A very fulfilling job is that of an energy efficiency consultant who focuses on advising customers about how to better use energy by analyzing buildings’ heating, ventilation or lighting needs for example. They also have the option to work outdoors so if you hate being inside all day this might be your perfect career choice since it pays around $85-110 thousand dollars per year! The fourth best paying job I found pays $85K and is that of a renewable energy consultant who advises clients on what types of technologies suit their needs.
They are also responsible for offering solutions to problems related to the use or installation such as solar panels, geothermal systems etc. If you enjoy giving advice then this might be your ideal position!
If you prefer being outdoors and aren’t afraid to work hard than it could make sense for you become an industrial construction worker in oil & gas industry which pay around $95-105 thousand per year. This role entails inspecting, installing, repairing all equipment used in generating electricity within a refinery or power plant. The higher salary is due to hazardous materials exposure with CO levels at 12-14 ppm.
If you enjoy the technical side of things and don’t mind working in an office environment then it might be a good idea for you to become a salesman/distributor in oil & gas industry which would pay around $60 thousand per year. This role entails finding new customers, helping them find solutions that suit their needs such as fuel efficiency or providing information about energy storage systems so they can decide what is best suited for their business. These roles are also responsible for managing accounts on behalf of clients after they have been found by the salesperson ensuring all work is carried out effectively with high levels of customer satisfaction!
