So I think that static route distance is a good one to use, but maybe not for all things. I think it would be good to have a metric that would work for things like large vehicles, or large objects, or anything over a certain size, and that metric would be the same for both points.
We can’t have a road map, but we can certainly have a GPS system that has a very good metric for us, but that metric is different for different groups of people.
In our case, we have a very big vehicle, and the metric is going to be different for that, so what we need to do is we need a good metric that will be the same for both points. Also, because this is a game, instead of a paper map, we need to use a GPS, and we need to make sure that all our paths in a virtual game are identical, so we get the same metric.
