For comparison, I also tried the same test on my Windows machine, and was able to ping IPv6 addresses in the US, but not in other countries. I had to go outside and test the other countries. In the example above, I tested 8,000 bytes. But when I tried it on my Windows machine, I only got about 400 bytes. My computer is still not capable of doing the same thing.
The only way I know of to get your machine to send the same ping command over IPv6 is to use a tool such as ip2location. I tried using this method but never got the results I wanted.
However, it seems that ping has changed its configuration sometime between Windows Vista and Windows 8, so I can’t be sure.
The ping command is just a way to determine if the computer is online and is connected to the internet. The ping command is not a way to determine if the ping command is received correctly. Ping is a tool to test ping’s accuracy, and the more you test with it, the more you will be able to figure out how to get your ping command to work properly.
