Why should you ask your doctor about your skin? What do you get from seeing a dermatologist? This is one of the most common questions I see from clients, but even when you do go to see your dermatologist, it’s not always an easy decision. The most important thing is to find out what the dermatologist is really looking for. This is where I come in.
If you have any questions about your skin, I would suggest reading up on the different types of skin cancers. My specialty in dermatology is in diagnosing and treating skin cancers. I specialize in facial acne, and I also treat facial melanoma, basal cell carcinomas, and skin tags. I also have an associate’s degree in medical assisting.

A few years back I found a way to get an associate degree in medical assisting. I had had a year of general practice, and the time was right. I also wanted to have a doctorate in dermatology. I had no clue what an associate degree in dermatology was, but I figured it was a good way to get a doctorate in dermatology. That was back in 2010.
I was always skeptical of dermatology. Skin diseases are a lot more challenging and expensive than cancer. I was also worried dermatology would be a lot harder than it turned out to be.
I was right. It is very difficult to get into dermatology. The best route to a doctorate is through a fellowship in medical assisting or dermatology. I found the first one by accident. I got a dermatological fellowship in 2011 and the dermatology fellowship in 2012. I had no idea what dermatology was, but I was excited to learn the basics.
When I was a kid, I read tons of health and beauty books and magazines. I was a very active kid. I would go to dermatology appointments, but my acne was more bothersome to me than the actual treatment. After the first dermatological appointment of the day, I would look at a calendar and say, “Oh, that’s tomorrow.” I’m not sure this is going to be a problem over anything else I do in life.
As it turns out, that was a pretty accurate assessment. The fact is, as little as I know about the treatment of acne, I was interested in dermatology because it seemed to be the field that could make me a better person without requiring a lot of money or effort. In fact, the dermatologist at my last appointment had said that the best part of the treatment was that I didn’t have to pay.
