I want to start off this week by talking about mental health. I’ve read a few articles online, and it seems like every day someone is writing about how they are struggling with mental health, and it’s getting so bad that they are considering leaving the country or even changing their name. I am not going to talk about those things because I don’t want to get you upset, but there are plenty of other things to talk about if you are interested.
Mental health is a hot topic these days, I can tell you that. One thing that seems to be going up in popularity in recent years has been the talk in the media about the benefits of therapy. As a result, there are organizations that offer free therapy services (and even some that are expensive!) to anyone who wants it. There are also quite a few sites and support groups that help people with the daily challenges of mental health.
Mental health is a big deal. A lot of people are dealing with a wide range of issues that we can label as either mental, or social, or emotional. Sometimes we think of it as just the two, but it’s actually a much more complicated issue that can impact every area of our lives. A lot of people are dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, and so on.
In the United States, more people are turning to mental health professionals than ever before, but there are many reasons people turn to mental health professionals. You can’t take care of all of your health and wellness problems yourself. It is really hard to find the time and energy to be there for someone who is dealing with a mental health issue, or is struggling with a social issue, or who just needs some extra support after a bad episode.
But mental health is not just about getting yourself through whatever problems you are having. It is about helping someone you love deal with a problem or two, because it is a problem that cannot be solved on your own. Mental health is about the mental health of others. And just as we care about our friends, family, colleagues, and colleagues who are dealing with depression, addiction, anxiety, and other mental health issues, we care about mental health of others.
My best friend, my fellow coworker, and I all suffer from anxiety and depression, and we all work with people who are dealing with these problems. I am so glad that I can help people who need it. But mental health is not about taking care of yourself, it is about helping others. And that is why I chose to create mental health wall art, as well as create my own personal campaign to help raise awareness of mental health issues.
Mental health issues are real, and I know there are many others out there who are dealing with the same things as me. It’s a bit like having a car breakdown in your driveway. You go to the nearest mechanic to get it fixed, but the next day you look at your car and wonder what the heck was wrong.
Mental health issues are one of the things that make me angry, sad, and depressed. This is why I chose to do mental health wall art, and this is why I created my own campaign to help raise awareness of mental health issues. Like a lot of mental health initiatives, I was unable to do the research into what exactly is covered in the campaign, so I created my own. I wanted to focus on the most common mental health issues, but I also wanted to make sure that I talked about mental health issues that are not so common.
The campaign takes place in the middle of the United States, and I figured it was a good time to talk about mental health issues that aren’t as common as they should be. The campaign is called, “I am fine.” It focuses on “all men are created equal.
