This wallpaper I am sharing with you is a work of art and I am so grateful that I was able to obtain it in the flesh. It is a portrait of India’s greatest poet and Indian National Congress leader Abhijit Banerjee. For the past four years, I have been painting this image for an event called “Self-Awareness in India”.
Abhijit Banerjee is perhaps the greatest living Indian poet. He is also a very interesting person. He is a vegetarian, who believes in a just-world, and he has a strong belief that only honest politicians should be elected to office. He was a strong supporter of the Indian National Congress until he died in July, 2004.
This image was taken by me just after I saw that Abhijit had died. All the people I’ve painted for the event are in my studio where I’m painting the image. So this particular wall was covered in my art for him. It has a lot of different shades of blue, green, red, and black. It’s very hard to capture any color in a picture and it was very important to me that he gets the message across to the rest of us.
One thing that I noticed as I was painting him was that he does have a lot of blue in his hair. I was also thinking of him as a little kid, but I decided to do a background with the blue sky.
I hope you love it as much as I do. I love the colors and how it flows from one scene to another. The main thing I was trying to convey were the visions of krishna ji, the main character of the game. He was a very sweet and gentle guy who had a lot of wisdom. That was my goal.
Just as I thought that the blue was a way to represent krishna ji as a child, I was also thinking of how the blue sky is a representation of the sky as a whole. In Hinduism, the sky is the beginning of everything. When we breathe in, the water in our lungs turns into air, the air turns into oxygen, and then the oxygen turns into carbon dioxide. The air turns into carbon dioxide and turns into the blue-hued sky.
At first, I was thinking of how the blue is a representation of the Sky as a whole, but I think it also has a lot of meaning. The blue is a part of the sky, making it part of us as a whole. It’s a representation of the very beginning of everything, the very start of the universe.
