I’m not one to pass judgment on people who do yoga, and I certainly don’t want to sound like I’m picking on anyone. Yoga, however, has its own level of self-awareness. Yoga is a practice of self-restraint, letting go of fear, pain, and regret. The more you practice yoga, the more you learn how to let go of the past. It’s also a practice of self-compassion.
Its hard to not be self-conscious while doing a simple yoga pose like the sun salutations. However, when you practice self-compassion, your body relaxes, your mind becomes calmer, and you begin to see where your feelings come from. Yoga helps to balance our relationship with our emotions and the way our mind works. It also teaches us to recognize that we are not in control of our lives, but that we are in control of our emotions and how we respond to them.

Mindfulness is one of those things that is very difficult for people to teach. It has to be more than just telling yourself, “I will be aware of my thoughts.” Mindfulness is something that you have to do all the time. If you are like me, you feel like you can’t have a good conversation with someone without being aware of your thoughts and feelings.
You want to make sure you are on track with your goals and intentions for the day and the week. Mindfulness is the same. You have to be aware of your thoughts and feelings. If you can do that, you will be much more effective in your day-to-day life.

If you’re not already, you can start with practicing mindfulness alone. This will help you get into the habit of being more aware of your thoughts, feelings, the present, the past, the future, etc. It is a very good habit to have.
