This quotes is from the book The Principles of Hindi, by Richard M. L.
It’s from the book How to Read and Understand Hindi, by Ramachandra Guha.
The most important thing to remember when reading Hindi is that Hindi is a highly inflected language. If you want to read it correctly, you need to be able to understand it. That’s why the practice of Hindi reading in classes is so important. Because when you first learn a language, it might seem foreign, but its so rich it makes so much sense.
There is a saying in Hindi that goes: “The more you understand the more you understand. The more you understand the less you understand.” That is a really good way to explain our own situation. It really is, our language is so rich that it makes so much sense but at the same time its so difficult to understand.
What could be simpler than this? A language is just a collection of sounds and all we have to do is say a word, and we can understand it. A language really is that simple. But we don’t like it being simple.
We want people to understand life. We think that people can understand it. As we have said before, life is a language and life is only a language. The only way to understand life is to understand it, to understand it in a way that no one else can understand it. That is the kind of language you can understand.
I love that song from the last movie “A Song of Ice and Fire” by David Foster Wallace. It’s so good. I feel like I’m listening to it now. And I can see the time to understand it.
I love this quote from the movie Grown Ups, where the character of Stan says, “I’m not a robot. I’m not a machine. I’m not a machine. I’m a person.” This quote is so true and so clear. We as humans are just so simple. We are just trying to survive, trying to make some kind of life out of the world around us and we do that with our very limited language.
Yes, we are all trying to survive. But to survive, we must learn to communicate with each other and be able to communicate with machines.
The second sentence of the quote is a bit vague. It doesn’t say anything about the other person’s actions. That’s not really a comment at all.
