However, because Deathloop is so dark and violent, it makes for a good lesson in how violent society can get away with it.

The story of Deathloop is told through song, and this is especially true with the way the games play out, since they are built on a time loop. The game is split into three different worlds, each of which contains a different scenario, and these scenarios are tied together with a set of rules which are meant to guide the characters on their adventure.
