We all know that when we do something stupid, we don’t really know how messed up it was. It can be extremely difficult to get over our own stupidity and the consequences of it.
So for someone to be able to say to you that they had thought about the consequences of the action is an accomplishment. It is an accomplishment. But for someone to do it with you, it is a thought about the consequences and its not a thought about the stupidity. According to the New Atheism, it is not possible to be self-aware, and therefore it is not possible to be aware of our thoughts and emotions. It is a philosophy that is so ingrained into our culture that this is not a topic that is at the forefront of our awareness. At the same time, there is a growing movement that is trying to make the concept of self-awareness more mainstream, and we’re happy to bring it to you.
This is probably the most boring and tedious part of the story. But the main reason why it is so interesting is because it shows us that there is a certain kind of self-awareness, which is the very thing that makes us who we are. If we can be aware of our thoughts and emotions, then we can learn to feel them, and feel those feelings and emotions.
