The fact is that the majority of our thoughts and actions are on autopilot. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing either. Our habits, routines, impulses, and reactions carry us through our lives so we don’t have to stop and think about it every time we wipe our ass or start a car.
The problem is when we’re on autopilot for so long that we forget we’re on autopilot. Because when we’re just not even aware of our habits, routines, impulses, and reactions, then we no longer control them they control us.
This is true. And it’s a problem. In the past few years there has been a huge increase in people who are self-aware. But we’re not talking about a real increase. We’re talking about people who are aware of the current situation, who are aware of their habits, routines, impulses, and reactions, and who are trying to change them.
The problem is that when we’re so self-aware. So when we don’t even realize we’re on autopilot. Because when we’re so self-aware. We don’t even realize we’re on autopilot. Because when we’re so self-aware. We don’t even realize we’re on autopilot. Because when we’re so self-aware.
